Ethan Don:The whole concept behind this game was super ambitious and I think you did an awesome job. The world really felt post-apocalyptic and barren. I really liked how each area incoporated some kind of verticality which made the levels more interesting and more realistic. One additional feature I would have liked to see was more variation in the gameplay like more enemies or more abilities. But I know time was probably the issue. Overall, the game is super fun and immersive and with great aesthetics and gameplay.

The game is definitely very nice and I like the camera angle of the player. The maps are very impressive and I like the revisions you did between exercise 5 and 6, making the maps more complete and immersive. I also like the variety of the environments, backgrounds, and sound effects between the scenes. One critique is that adding multiple enemy types/abilities would be nice.

Justin Rivera: This is a seriously impressive game, especially considering that we were only about halfway through the semester when it was made. The atmosphere is very well done and the level design, models, and overall feel of the game help to build an immersive experience. The camera feels a bit jittery at times, especially when the player is turning, but this is still a super cool game

Chenny Yun: I love how immersive the game feels. Everything is scaled very well, so nothing looks out of place. The overall aesthetics fit the apocalyptic theme really well, and the game balancing is excellent.

Ashley Liu: Being able to explore levels and not set on one specific path was really cool and the overall atmosphere was very consistent with the name!

xiao ling

the map and level design was awesomeee. navmesh was great: being able to jump around and explore the streets really made it seem apocalyptic.

sound affects play into the chaotic environment :))

Remi Vaughan: This game was super cool, probably one of the most ambicious games of that week. Getting the models and animation and all that really worked with the vibe you were going for, and all of the ambiance effects like the lighting and sound were nice too. The design of the last level especially was great. The change I'd like the see is more levels like the last one. The others just don't really seem to fit the vibe, even with the effects added in.

Yilin Zhao: What a great job! I'm totally amazed at the first glance. The 3D environment is finely built and the running effect of the player really creates a sense of intensity. It's super playable since the player has to explore the scene. Also, inside a rather dark scene, the use of light for the player is great. And it's very detailed that the volume change with the distance.

Yuxuan Lin (Kerwin): Extremely great job on the creation of the sprites for the 3D model. The use of TPP gives me an immersive experience. With the level system, the growth in strength makes its players more attracted to the game.

Christ: This is an awesome and extraordinary game!!! I like the 3D model you guys used and the player is so smooth to play. I admire how genius you guys are. You guys are far away from us!!! I just know cubes and sphere :(  Anyway, I think this is kinda similar with GTA.Nice work!!

The 3D models look great and create the exact type of atmosphere and environment a game like this should have. Exploring the different parts of the map was fun and the sound effects were perfect (especially the death sound effect). Overall, great work!

Shangyu:This Zombie Runner game is super scary and feels very real. The map is huge and you have to find keys to unlock doors as you navigate through the ruined city. It's really intense and keeps you on your toes the whole time. If you're into horror games and want a good scare, this one is definitely worth playing!

Yanglin Tao: The 3D models in this game make it a very realistic and immersive experience for the player. The game itself is fast-paced and exciting at all times. The sound effects are nice though it can be a little bit too loud at some point.

Good theme consistency. You can tell there is a story being told here. Feels gritty and uncomfortable most of the time which is integral to the genre. Level feels quite large and exploration is fun (assuming you can dodge the zombies). The controls can be quite difficult to navigate since the camera glitches a lot in between movement. Some of the audio could also be balanced better. Overall feels solid.

Nishma: This was an interesting game to watch and I really liked the effects and everything that made it feel realistic. The zombies were intense and added that pressure, and the layout was really cool because it was like open and there's a lot of different ways you could go.I think maybe there could be more addition to the aesthetics, but cool game :)

Sergey: Nice, it was intriguing to play. Overall the idea was cool and fun. It was a little noisy though. The alarm thing was nicely integrated. Good job.

Anna Teng: The atmosphere of this entire game is super neat. I love the world building and the color scheme, I think it really fits well with the theme and creates a really immersive game. I Also love the sound effects that just brings everything together, the loud noises really builds on to the chaotic atmosphere.

Anik Barua: One of the best game that I have seen this semester. Creating a whole 3D world from scratch with buildings, streets, cars, bridges definitely stands out with different sounds. The detailing and player animation, feedback everything works-out nicely. The zombie chasing was the best part of the game and I had to try multiple times to go to the next levels. Great work!

Jack Liu: This game uses 3D character which reminds me of Counter Strike I played when I was small. It really has a huge map and player can spend some time to explore the map which is fun for me. However, I do expect there are more decorations in each scene. The level number is straightforward and it increases the difficulty for each level which makes me know which level am I in. The zombie looks a little bit scaring but it's a great game overall!

Hah-Young Kim: The level designs in the game are really detailed, and I like how the game takes into consideration the volume of the sound effects. For example, if a player is far away, the sound effects of cars honking can't be heard, but if you get closer, the sound gets louder. This made the game environment feel more immersive when playing!

Suning Yao: The character has a very formal game feel. The whole game is very well done, with lots of buildings and terrain. Even this Itch page is so cool!
